I'm Leon — a Designer turned Photographer, based in Berlin.
Thriving at the intersection of strategic thinking and creative storytelling, my photographic work draws from over a decade of experience in Industrial Design, startups and Creative Consultancy.
For companies and teams in design, tech, hardware and manufacturing — I capture what it takes, to make.
As photographer, I combine the manufacturing knowledge of an Industrial Designer with the conceptual clarity of a Creative Consultant: I understand art direction and audience, think in systems, and deliver photographic material that holds up across format and channel — from campaign to editorial to pitch deck.
As Storyteller, I combine a deep appreciation for the people behind the work with an understanding of domain-specific narratives and their visual cultures. I admire skill, the process that made an achievement possible. The significance of a choice, the iterations. The conviction and courage of someone who showed up every day to materialize a vision.
The world of design, craft, manufacturing, technology and startups is where my understanding runs deepest — and where the majority of my work lives: with people who dedicate their life to building things and growing skills, driven by passion, curiosity and conviction.
As the designer I hear all things talking — as the photographer I capture their meaning.
Because the bright minds that shape our world deserve to be seen.
