About

Hi, I'm Leon Laskowski, a Berlin-based photographer specializing in portrait, reportage, and travel photography.

After 8+ years of working in product design and creative consultancy, I started transitioning into photography in my early thirties, exploring themes of passion and personality, authenticity and uniqueness.

Whether portraying companies or photographing a travel story — spaces, objects, textures, surfaces and colors are central to my visual exploration of how an environment reflects unique practices and passions or how a cultural context shapes our values and ways of being. As the designer I hear all things talking; as the photographer I convey their meaning through images.

With a particular interest in portraying personalities within the context of their specific undertakings and environments, I seek to showcase examples of lives and professions that are driven by passion, values and authenticity.

Let's start a conversation — let's share true stories.
I am looking forward to your call.
